electronic software downloads are not eligible for return.
How do I move my license to a new computer? The TEKLYNX License Transfer Tool allows the user to
deactivate their TEKLYNX software on one computer and reset the license so that
the software can be installed and activated on another computer.
To use this tool, you must have an
Internet connection on either the PC that contains the activated license or the
computer you are moving the software to.
If I have an SMA, can I upgrade to CODESOFT
9? Yes, if you have CODESOFT 8
and have an active Software Maintenance Agreement, you will be able to upgrade
to version 9 for free.
Without an SMA, you must purchase
an upgrade from version 8. For versions
prior to 8, you must purchase a full product.
When does the free 3-month SMA begin? The free 3-month
SMA that is included with CODESOFT 9 is good for 90 days from the date of
purchase.
What happens after the free 3-month SMA
expires?
When you agree to the Terms
and Conditions of the Software Maintenance Agreement, you will receive an automatic
renewal for the agreement. You must cancel the agreement 30 days before the
renewal date to avoid a cancellation fee.
What edition of CODESOFT do I need? CODESOFT Pro is a great

How is CODESOFT licensed?
CODESOFT Pro and Enterprise single user
installations are licensed on a design station basis.
The Network version of
CODESOFT Enterprise is licensed by concurrent users, and not per seat. This means you can install the software on as
many PCs as you need, however, the licensing will limit how many users can
access it at the same time.
CODESOFT RunTime (Print
Only) licensing options are available with the Enterprise version. RunTime is limited to only opening and
printing labels; you cannot add, move, delete or edit fields on a label.
