Video: The Real Good Life Case Study

When a local entrepreneur needed to implement their first labeling solution, TEKLYNX stepped up to the plate to help out. The Real Good Life opened in 2016 with one mission in mind, serve up delicious nutritious food as a cost-effective and convenient option to get dinner on the table.

 

Maggie - Owner of The Real Good Life: A lot of families deal with the same problem every night, "What's for dinner?" So we decided to start The Real Good Life to answer that question. We deliver food that's family friendly and ready to go once a week to 85 families here in the Metro Milwaukee area. 

 

As business grew, Maggie realized they needed an easy-to-use, fast, and accurate labeling solution. 

 

Maggie: Before we started using the labeling software, our process was all hand done. We had very nice looking labels that had our logo and a link to an instruction page so customers would go there to figure out how to heat up their meal, but besides that I would have to hand-write the name and date on every single product label. I lost hours of time to do that at the size of the business it was then, I can't imagine how much time it would take now that business has quadrupled.

 

Maggie: When we were first looking for labeling software I put a call out to my social media network asking for help, they answered that call. They connected me with Nick, at TEKLYNX, who was able to introduce me to this LABELVIEW software that just answered all our problems.

Maggie: Here at The Real Good Life, we use labels in two different ways: the most important one is going straight on our food packaging. That one needs to have the name of the product and the date that it goes out. Additionally, we also use labels for our delivery bags and that of course has some basic information that helps our delivery drivers know where they're going; addresses, names, all those kind of things. 

 

Nick: For start-ups, like The Real Good Life, the focus is on a fast and simple implementation, and a really easy-to-use interface. LABELVIEW met those needs.
