Objective/Requirements:
A global meat, poultry & provisions manufacturer was looking for an application that would accept multiple scans from a serial scanner. Each scan would represent a different item to be added to a printed form that would be used as a packing list. The items would vary for each list and the number of scans would be different per order/form.
Solution:
TEKLYNX Professional Services developed a local printing application using LABELVIEW Gold label design software that allows an operator to key in variable customer information and tie multiple bar code scanned items to the unique order number. When the scans are completed, the operator prints the packing list on a local printer and includes it with the shipped items.
