Objective/Requirements:
A print & apply company was using LABELVIEW label design software’s Command Files feature to print multiple shipping labels. A need developed to have the quantity of the product that was associated with each shipping label displayed on a screen. This would enable operators to know how many items to put in each mail order bag.
Solution: TEKLYNX Professional Services provided a customized front-end interface to LABELVIEW Gold that displays each record one-by-one as each Command File is processed. As each data file is processed, it is added to a grid on the interface. The user is able to select a line that he/she wishes to print. Once the selection is made, a preview of the label format appears on the right side of the screen.
