Sunrise 2005

Sunrise 2005 has four categories of barcodes. Each of these categories, or Data Structures as they call them, uses the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) as the value to be printed in the barcode. The Data Structure categories are the UCC-12, EAN/UCC-13, EAN/UCC-8, and EAN/UCC-14. The chart below breaks down each category of barcodes, the supported symbologies, size of the barcodes and which label design products support each barcode.
* If one of the 8, 12, or 13 digit bar codes cannot be used a 14 digit one may be used in its place.
The chart above shows that all three label design products offer support for the 2005 SUNRISE initiative. Each of the above barcodes also have various subsets (50 total).
