How do I activate my Add-on? How do I complete a minor version keyless upgrade? |

The Upgrade Manager program is used to activate add-ons such as Pocket LABELVIEW or add additional users. The Upgrade Manager is also used to upgrade keyless products for minor version upgrades. If you are performing a different upgrade refer to our LABELVIEW upgrade assistance page.
To use the Upgrade Manager to upgrade your software, follow the directions below:- Open LABELVIEW. Select Help > System Status.
- The System Status dialog will open. Open the Upgrade Manager by clicking the button in the upper right side of the dialog.
- When the Upgrade Manager launches, you will see a screen similar to the one below. Use the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the 84 character Product Code to your PC’s clipboard and paste the code (press CTRL+V to paste the code) in the body of a new e-mail.
- E-mail the Product Code and Serial Number (found on the label attached to the upgrade sheet you received in your upgrade kit) to customerservice@teklynx.com with the word UPGRADE in the subject line. IMPORTANT: Do not close the Upgrade Manager Utility.
- When you receive a return e-mail from TEKLYNX Customer Service, it will include your new Upgrade Product Code. Copy the new Upgrade Product Code from the return e-mail from TEKLYNX Customer Service and paste it in the New Product Code area of the Upgrade Manager. Click the Upgrade button to upgrade your software license.
- You will be prompted to verify that you wish to replace your existing Product Code with the new one entered in step 6. Click Yes to confirm the change.
- You will see a confirmation message informing you that your license has successfully been modified.
- Click OK to exit the System Status dialog and restart LABELVIEW to have changes take effect.
