How do I import label formats into CODESOFT 7.x or 8.x ?
CODESOFT 7.x and 8.x Enterprise editions have a tool called the Printer Code Converter you can use to import label formats from other applications. To import label files, follow the instructions below:
  1. Open CODESOFT. Select File > Import > from printer command file.

  2. The Import dialog will open. Change the Files of type drop-down list to the printer language extension for your printer.

  3. Once you select the file type that matches your printer, you will see the filenames of your labels. Select the file you wish to import and click OK.

  4. You may see a screen like the one below. If you do, select the printer model corresponding to the driver you used to export the label format. When you are finished click OK.

  5. You may see a screen like the one below. If you do, enter the height and width parameters for the label file you are importing. When you are finished click OK.

  6. Your label will now appear in the design interface. Note that you may have to resize objects or perform other minor modifications to your file.
