What are the known issues and defects in CODESOFT 8? |

- You may encounter ODBC database connectivity issues on your PC if you install the CODESOFT 8.0 demo on a PC that already has a previous version of CODESOFT installed and then you uninstall either the previous version or the version 8 demo.
To fix this problem, launch CODESOFT setup and select the Repair option. This will correct the ODBC issues.
For this reason, we recommend that you do not install the CODESOFT 8 demo on a PC that has an earlier version of CODESOFT installed.
- When using the Active X commands to Open or Close a label, you must add a delay in between commands to avoid problems.
- When using the "Copy as image" or "Export as image" feature, bar codes can not be read by bar code scanners.
- When using TEC printers, the Gap is not read correctly when used as the bottom page margin.
These defects will be addressed shortly with a point release.
