The Upgrade Manager program is what you use to activate add-ons such as Form Designer and Form Viewer or POF Manager. The Upgrade Manager is also used to upgrade keyless products for minor version upgrades. If you are performing a different upgrade refer to our CODESOFT upgrade assistance page.
To use the Upgrade Manager to upgrade your software, follow the directions below.- Run the Upgrade Manager for CODESOFT 8. From the start menu browse to Program Files > CODESOFT 8 > Upgrade Manager.
- When the Upgrade Manager is launched, you will see a screen similar to the one on the left. Use the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the 84 character Product Code to your PC’s clipboard and paste the code (press CTRL+V to paste the code) in the body of a new e-mail.
- E-mail the Product Code and Serial Number (found on the label attached to this form) to customerservice@teklynx.com with the word UPGRADE in the subject line. IMPORTANT: Do not close the Upgrade Manager Utility.
- When you receive a return e-mail from TEKLYNX Customer Service, it will include your new Upgrade Product Code. Copy the New Product Code from the return e-mail from TEKLYNX Customer Service and paste it in the New Product Code area of the Upgrade Manager. Click the Upgrade button to upgrade your software license.
- You will be prompted to verify that you wish to replace your existing Product Code with the new one entered in step 5. Click Yes to confirm the change.
- You will see a confirmation message informing you that your license has successfully been modified.
