TEKLYNX announces availability of LABELVIEW 8.01 with keyless software activation
MILWAUKEE – June 15, 2006 – TEKLYNX® International, the world’s leading developer of software products for the AIDC marketplace, today announced the availability of a new build of LABELVIEW™, version 8.01 bar code labeling and integration software. The latest version offers a new software activation method along with support for over 50 new printer drivers bringing the number of supported printers to well over 1,000.
LABELVIEW 8.01 adds new activation process to all versions
All versions of LABELVIEW 8.01 (Basic, Pro and Gold) use a software activation method which replaces the conventional hardware protection key (dongle) that was previously required to run the software. The activation process is simple, and requires only that users validate the license on their PC using the activation code they receive with the installation CD. With this new software activation process, users no longer have to worry about the inconvenience of hardware key-related issues.
Expanded printer support
TEKLYNX also extended printer driver support to additional printers from Datamax, Paxar, Sato, TEC, Toshiba, Zebra and more. LABELVIEW supports over 1000 thermal/thermal transfer printers and label applicators and dozens of RFID printers, including read/write printers, as well as any Windows-based printer. TEKLYNX' DSP (Driver Service Pack) free online service is the easiest method in the industry for updating printer drivers and tag formats to support emerging RFID printer technologies. TEKLYNX' DSP allows TEKLYNX resellers, system integrators and users to easily download and install the latest drivers and formats, a must as RFID hardware and standards continue to evolve. LABELVIEW 8.01 is available in three versions: Basic – with design features, Pro - with database connectivity and Gold which adds powerful software integration tools.
